Terahertz Spectrometers from Bruker Optics

Description

Terahertz light has remarkable properties. Many common materials and living tissues are semi-transparent and have 'terahertz fingerprints`, permitting them to be imaged, identified, and analyzed. Moreover, the non-ionizing properties of terahertz radiation and the relatively low power levels used, indicate that it is safe.

Since the launch of the World`s first commercially available turn-key Terahertz spectrometer system in 2004, TeraView created a number of products to help harness the unique properties of Terahertz Radiation. A long lasting cooperation between Bruker and TeraView has contributed to the implementation of the technique in various applications. Based on the TPI™ core system, the product range can easily be configured to produce a fixed-installation scanner with a fixed aperture, a more mobile probe device, or a Terahertz spectrometer.
